Glabrous or sparsely hairy annual; stems ribbed. Lvs sparsely hairy along margins, elliptic to ovate, acute or obtuse, c. 60–120 mm long (excluding petiole); petiole somewhat < blade; stipules partly adnate to petiole, ovate-lanceolate, 10–30 mm long. Infl. long-pedunculate, (1)–2–4-flowered. Calyx sparsely hairy; calyx teeth triangular-acuminate, < or = tube. Corolla yellow, 8–12 mm long. Pod glabrous, c. 10 mm diam., with 2–8, 1-seeded segments; outer 4–6 ribs tuberculate or spinose; seeds crescent-shaped.
