 Recognition
  • a climbing or scrambling plant with extensive rhizomes and glabrous climbing and twining aerial stems.
  • its leaves are heart-shaped, with the base distinctly notched.
  • its flowers are solitary on long (8-30 cm) stems and the corolla is trumpet-shaped, white and 5-8 cm long.
  • its capsule is 1-1.5 cm long and surrounded by old, persistent sepals.
