Recognition
- a vigorous, densely hairy, deciduous, climber with twining stems.
- its leaves are large and rounded (upto 14 cm across) with white star-like hairs beneath and the petiole is covered with reddish-brown hairs.
- its flowers occur singly or or small groups and have white petals 1.5-3 cm long.
- its fruit is a large (4-10 cm long) fleshy berry with short brown hairs and hangs below the leaves.
