Synonymy:
Type: South Island. Gorge of Cobb River 1.5 km below dam (lat. 41⁰06'S, long. 172⁰41'E), 15 Dec. 1965, W.B.Brockie s.n., ex Herbarium of H. Talbot (holo: CHR 233859/A!*; iso: CHR 233860!).
Etymology:
Description
Rosette lvs crowded; lamina narrow-elliptic; hairs short, fine, silky, arcuate, crowded but barely overlapping, abaxially mostly retrorse. Lateral branches erect. Cymes 1-several, ebracteate; young fls crowded but internodes > calyx at fruiting. Calyx lobes wide-spreading, lobed almost to base. Corolla white, to 10 mm diam.; tube very short, < calyx lobes; filaments long, conspicuous.
