Description
Leaf-sheath to 30 cm, fracturing into short segments, dark brown, internerves glabrous or long hairy. Leaf-blade to 1 m, falling with part of sheath, adaxially with rows of short hairs at base. Culm to 1.5 m, internodes and sheath glabrous. Lemma with long dense hairs on margin, very sparse or absent elsewhere, < sinus; lateral lobes to 6 mm including awn to 2 mm.
